San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union Announces Michael C. Borman as New Chief Lending Officer
San Antonio, November 3, 2025 —San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Michael C. Borman has joined the organization as Chief Lending Officer, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in retail, consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and member-first mindset, Borman is passionate about strengthening lending strategies that help people achieve their financial goals through responsible, personalized solutions.
“What makes credit unions special is that every decision starts with what’s best for the member, not the bottom line,” said Borman. “We measure success in the trust we build and the lives we help improve. That shared purpose is what drew me to credit unions and continues to drive my passion for this work.”
Before joining San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union, Borman held senior leadership roles with Acadia Federal Credit Union, Jetstream Federal Credit Union, and Family First Credit Union. In each organization, he focused on elevating lending operations, developing staff talent, and enhancing the member experience. His leadership has consistently driven growth, improved efficiency, and upheld the values credit unions are built upon — trust, service, and community.
Earlier in his career, Borman held regional leadership positions with Fifth Third Bank and Wells Fargo, where he guided teams to top-tier performance and earned multiple awards for excellence in customer service and team development.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Borman is excited about returning to the region and serving the communities of Central Florida.
