DADE CITY, Fla. – A new hub for Pasco County’s senior community has officially opened its doors in Dade City. The new Dade City Senior Center, located at 13900 4th Street, replaces the previous 15th Street location and promises a fresh space for local seniors to gather.
Pasco County Senior Services announced the opening, highlighting the center’s mission to provide a convenient place for engagement.
“We love our senior community,” said Brian Hoben, Community Services Director. “The new look and location opens the door for our seniors looking for a convenient place to engage with others in food, fun and fellowship.”
The center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a variety of activities to appeal to different interests. Residents can look forward to a full calendar of events, including arts and crafts, bingo, live entertainment, and karaoke. The new facility will also host regular birthday and holiday celebrations, game days, and opportunities for volunteering.
In addition to these activities, the center provides a free weekday meal for residents aged 60 and older. Seniors interested in participating in the activities or registering for the meal program can do so by calling 352-521-5151.
The move to the new 4th Street location marks a new chapter for senior services in Dade City, providing a modern and welcoming environment for older residents to connect and enjoy their time together.
